Games For Mental Health
Gaming Approaches Towards Education, LLC (GATE) is a mental health service provider in Metuchen, NJ that uses a mixture of cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and Autism play to help individuals and families create healthy thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Our therapists use board games, storytelling, and role-playing to work through the challenges you’re facing due to your mental health issues.
We believe games emphasize individual and family strengths. These activities make us think, feel, and adapt to different situations. Play can become a way to practice for everyday life and promote mental health.
Our licensed counselors and licensed clinical social workers provide both individual therapy and group therapy and specialize in therapy for people diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. No matter which type of mental health therapy is right for you, GATE can provide a safe environment that will facilitate your mental health growth.
