Gaming Approaches Towards Education, LLC (GATE) is home to licensed counselors and mental health therapists that use behavioral and play therapy to help children, adults, and families grow in mental health. From board game therapy to Autism play therapy, we strive to provide the care that our patients need in a safe, fun, and respectful environment.

Open Positions
Intensive In-Community Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Description: An Intensive In-Community Clinician’s job is to assess, diagnose, and implement goal-oriented, needs-based clinical interventions that address a youth’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges with moderate to high needs. IIC clinicians also stabilize and support the youth and family to avoid more intensive levels of intervention while working in collaboration with the Child Family Team (CFT). Specialties in Substance Abuse, Trauma, Autism Spectrum, and LGBT are desired but not required.
Area:
Middlesex, Union, and Hutson counties
Expectations:
- To work directly in the home and communities of families.
- Traveling to and from clients
- Open communication between care managers
- Timely paperwork submission
- Ability to keep up with appointments
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Comply with all HIPAA laws

Outpatient Clinician (LAC/LPC, LMFTA/LMFT, and LSW/LCSW)
Description:
An outpatient therapist’s job is to assess, diagnose, and implement goal-oriented, needs-based clinical interventions that address clients’ emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. You will conduct one-on-one and group therapy.

- Edison, NJ

Education / Certification requirements:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Description: Behavior Analysts will provide supervision to Behavior Technicians. Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention programs to clients, in addition to developing programs, behavior intervention plans (as needed), and program monitoring of their caseload.
Area:

Expectations:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Create programs and behavior intervention plans
- Complete skill assessments, including ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and AFLS
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Train and supervise school staff and home behavior technicians
- Parent training
- Comply with all HIPAA laws

Behavioral Technician
Description:
A behavior technician works directly with a child, adolescent, or adult and their family to implement behavior plans designed by a BCBA. They build rapport with the individual, work with them and family on goals set by the BCBA, teach new skills, manage behaviors, and observe and record progress.

- Collaborate with other providers and families on youth’s needs

- Patience, problem-solving skills, discretion, ability to think on your feet, creativity
- Ability to work well with others and be an effective part of a treatment team
- Ability to work equally well independently
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Access to reliable transportation; valid NJ/PA drivers license, willingness to travel
- Bachelor’s degree or coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred
