This type of therapy is meant to help you identify the negative thoughts that are leading to negative behavior. For anxiety, our licensed counselors will help you establish healthier thoughts and effective coping mechanisms to triggers. Cognitive-Behavioral therapy is all about practicing these new thought patterns and behaviors to improve your mental health.

Group Therapy

Group therapy for anxiety provides a space where you can connect with others who have the same diagnosis. You can share personal experiences, hear from others, and receive support from people who understand the challenges you’re facing.

GATE Therapy Intake Process

At GATE, our team of counselors and social workers strives to make receiving therapy and mental health treatment as stress-free as possible. Below is our therapy process.

Consultation

Before we begin therapy treatment, we must first receive important information that will help us better understand your situation. We ask for information regarding any prior diagnoses, treatment desires, and whether you prefer in-person or telehealth sessions. We will set you up with our confidential web-based program, TheraNest, which will help keep all of your information in one place.

Evaluation

The evaluation step in our therapy process includes a self-evaluation and an evaluation conducted by one of our licensed counselors. We will work with you to decide the best therapy treatment for your mental health issues. A treatment plan will be drafted that is specific to your needs.

Appointment

Once you begin appointments, you can cancel or reschedule at any time. You can also apply credit card information for co-payments and check your appointment schedule all on TheraNest.
